How lucky can Berlin get, thanks to Projekt Galerie we will have a real Top Model coming to town for her own photography exhibition, having had a pre-sneak at. The images she will introduce us to a rather real and pure vision of a model not being the object but the betrayer. Iekeliene likes to keep memories executed by her images, the images appear to be absurd blended with a surrealistic touch, she is known for being booked for major fashion campaigns such as, Marc Jacobs, D&G, Topshop and Burberry. The international model is represented by the most successful models agencies worldwide and has now moved on with her young age of 24 becoming a promising visual artist.

Once again Berlin proved to be one of the hottest cities worldwide, kicking of with the Diesel ONLY THE BRAVE scent launch party. January will be packed with international events, this coming week.

Brad Pitt will attend for the launch of the Benjamin Button movie starring him and Cate Blanchett, who quickly picked up her Golden Globe Award for best actress before coming to Berlin, also Tom Cruise will be in town for the new movie (Operation Walküre) just one day after. Next week will not be much less exciting, and Berlin´s January will be nicely ending with the Fashion Week (27th)

I have met Renzo some while back in London, once I heard he will be attending his launch in Berlin, I knew this will turn into a wild one! The creator of the cult denim brand Diesel, proved that as a brand builder you can be commercial nevertheless still be very cutting edge, wacky and unique. That seems to be his winning formula over more than two decades -to just be real, I am not stating any names but there are similar Label creators of emporiums in the same fashion sector, the difference between XYZ and Renzo is, Renzo is not trying to be young, cool and hip and sucking up to celeb´s, he just is the way he is.

ONLY THE BRAVE- scent is once again a rather beautiful combination of being arty with a gentle hint of being provoking as well as commercial enough to attract or shall I say attack the average mass consumer.The message is pretty obvious, this scent is for two kinds of consumers, the Brave & the ones who want to be Brave, confident - in your face- Yes this will all be YOU once shower yourself in this strong as well as sensual liquid - moreover it seems to work to become calm, peaceful and loved up between humans, (see picture below) maybe Obama and Rossi should do a Co-op and drop the flacons in every war zone on this earth. And Bush should be on OTB injections every 1/3 hour for life!

The biggest German Fashion Show Event ( Mercedes-Benz, IMG) will be kicking off on January 28 at the Bebelplatz in the Heart of Berlin- City. They have managed once again to gather a bunch off rather interesting national, international, establishes and newcomer designers, which will hopefully stear up the German Fashion Scene. My personal highlights for this season would have to be Marcel Ostertag, Markus Lupfer, the Duo Kaviar Gauche, lalaBerlin and Berhard Willhelm. I think those listed designers will shine with their collections blissed & filled with creativity & high international standard, which most German designers still seem to lack of. They don´t dare to express themselves fully, however you can´t blame them for this behavoir as they need to sell and not only shine on the catwalk. Sadly most of the "Kauts" are rather lost when it comes to the ABC of "dress 2 impress", or just simply being well coordinated by the way you are combining your look. It is so easy to be in fashion, but it is pretty hard to develope your own style and feel confident with it - Especially with sales people all running around you and trying to manipulate you to buy the whole shop!!!!

Mercedes-Benz and IMG are the main Organizers of this chain of events, however there are also running otherFashion Events throughout Berlin, such as projektGALERIE which are exhibiting avant garde, international carefully selected fashion designers for buyers with high standards. PG are also known for their "ART meets FASHION" events for movers &shakers and fashinistas. For all Fashinistas who want to be part of this happening, please look below for more useful links!
And don´t forget - Dress 2 Impress - we don´t want any bloody fashion accidents on the streets of Berlin!

Pssst: Ohhhh... if you see Eva Padberg, please do not copy her style- she is sooo out, she has been dumped,sooo last season darlings!!!
